As I watched President Bush give his "State of the Union Address, I was watching the faces of the audience. No one looked very happy, as a matter of fact it looked like a room full of puppets, sit, stand, applaud etc. without expression. I wondered if there was an "applaud" "clap" "stand" sign like on the set of a talk show.
Another thing that struck me was that not one person in that room was worrying if there was going to be enough money this week to pay the mortgage, buy food, get medical help, clothe their children, oil for heat, electricity and so on...
Hilliary, I back you 100% and I hope that as a women you can bring mothering, comfort and nuturing to this ill country. Treat us like weary children, give us back some "HOPE". This country needs the love and support that only a loving mother can give.
Also when you are at those $1,000 dollar a plate dinners, perhaps when you say "GRACE" you can remind those around you that many many Americans are trying to figure out whether to eat or keep a roof over their heads, while you all enjoy a perfectly catered meal, tailored clothing, arriving in limos from your wonderful homes. So many polititions got there riding on the backs of the lower middle class Americans.
Hillary, I am a dental professional who has a domestic partner who is a federal investigator for those wishing to enter the white house or the military. We have been together for years and are very well liked in our community. I want health insurance through her company. How can stepkids get insurance through their non-blood related person, but I am in a "marriage" type situation, and can't. I'm not really asking to flaunt myself as a couple, but just want health insurance. Shelley Dixon
Hillary, I know you have experience landing in hot zones under sniper fire (lol), but aside from that, what makes you qualified for this most important job? Looking to bulk up that resume for 2012 or 2016?
Its pretty sad how our country works when it comes to politics; this is a clear example of Obama selling his soul to the democratic powers that be.
Lets forget qualifications for the job and just nominate our friends, relatives and people we owe favors to...I can see the Dems have the public's interests first. NOT.
